How to connect a laptop to the Internet via a wireless mobile phone

Some mobile phones can be connected to a laptop computer, then the computer to access the Internet via the mobile phone's wireless service. Making the connection:
1st: - Plug one end of the data cable to your mobile phone (with phone switched on). It's easy to tell which end to use since they are different. One will be a common USB end for connection to the computer. Some cellular service providers offer a kit that contains the cable.
2nd: - Plug the other end of the data cable to a USB port on your laptop.
3rd: - Run the software package from the cell phone provider. There should be a choice to start the wireless internet connection. Once this is done, the computer must be successfully connected to the internet via the mobile phone's wireless service.

Tips & Warnings:
Make sure there is a data plan ready for the mobile phone. If it is not unlimited, find out the restrictions. Your laptop will draw far more data across service than your cell phone alone, which may result in additional charges.
