LG has officially announced its new flagship smartphone, the first to give the name Optimus, used so far by the company. G2 has a 5.2 inch IPS screen and promises "a new perspective in the design of smart phones."
LG G2 was designed as rival market leaders Samsung and Apple. The new smartphone is larger than the screen size of the Samsung Galaxy S4, proposing as an alternative a Full HD IPS display 5.2 inch, 0.2 inch higher than Korean smartphone with 1.2 inch over the phone Apple. It measures 8.9 mm in thickness and has the lateral margins of only 2.5 mm. Because smart phones are becoming increasingly large Korean company decided to move the two volume buttons and lock button on the back of the unit for easier access when the phone call. The same buttons can be used as shortcuts for opening the camera or the application for taking notes.
With a resolution of 400 pixels per inch G2 promises a natural looking color without hue or saturation of eyestrain. 13 MP rear camera benefits from optical stabilization and has a resolution that allows it to provide a clear image zoom up to 16 times while the camera front (2.1 MP) makes it possible to record video images in tandem.
LG G2 will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is driven by a quad-core Snapdragon processor with a frequency of 2.24 GHz, 2 GB RAM memory and two memory options - 16 or 32 GB.
The price has not yet been specified terminal.
